I do not have any big news or reports in regard to the series since the release of Empires Arising. I have been writing in the background, and there are several other books either adding to the series or alongside it, but I am not planning on doing anything with them.
I’m not on social media as an author; I’m terrible at self-promotion, and there hasn’t been a lot of interest in the series…which probably ties into my lack of interest in social media.
I’m running a special on all 6 books this weekend. When the Kingdom Falls, The Price of Survival, and The Dangers with Allies are all free on Kindle this weekend. When Forces Rise and The Ripples from War are on sale at $0.99 USD, and Empires Arising is $2.99.
This may be my last post. I started writing this series because of all the various characters and stories that have drifted through my head over the years the characters in this series were the loudest and felt the most relatable to me. While they seldom did anything I wanted, I have enjoyed following along (pantser author here, not planner) and watching how things have unfolded.
That being said. Self-publishing is expensive if you’re doing everything correctly. Editors, cover artists, book formatters—all real people, none of my processes done or assisted by AI—cost money, and it is no longer feasible to continue to publish the series.
