It’s safe to say it’s been a while. I stepped away from writing altogether for a few years and focused on other things. However, I lost my father in May and found comfort in old hobbies, which caused me to pull up former WIPs within the Journey of an Arbais Mage series to see if I still had the character voices after, oh, five-ish years.
Turns out they’re just as loud as they used to be, and they still make choices I question enough to yell back. I’m not sure that says a lot about my state of mind, but here we are.
When the Kingdom Falls is turning 8 on the 17th of September. I recently ran a promo on the first three series of the novels since they’d been on my mind of late, which only put them on my mind further.
So, I came here. In honor of the upcoming release date of When the Kingdom Falls, I thought I would try a version of Ask Me Anything (but let’s keep it related to the series) if anyone is interested. Since there are so many characters in the series, it’s a great chance to ask the backstory, or just a random question, regarding side characters. If it’s a spoiler for a later book in the series, please warn people; likewise, if my answer crosses that line in any fashion, I will try to warn people as well.
